What is Quantum Touch?
Quantum
Touch, developed by Richard Gordon, is a method of energy flow that raises
one's vibration through specialized breathing techniques. The practitioner may
touch or think of another person and send that higher energy vibration to them.
The healer (person being healed) entrains to the higher vibration which helps
their body heal itself.
How is QT performed?
QT endorses the
belief that the body knows how to heal itself and has an innate preference for
wholeness and health. Using intention, attention, breathing, and the body's
innate intelligence, the practitioners run energy to raise their vibration and
the resonance of their hands then place the hands on the client's
fully clothed body in specific positions to raise the client's vibration until
the healing occurs.
The foremost principles of QT are resonance and
entrainment. This means raising your vibration and connecting it with another's,
and holding this high vibration. When two things vibrate at different
frequencies, the law of resonance states that the lower frequency comes up, or
the upper frequency goes down, or they meet in the middle. The practitioner is
holding a strong vibration so that the client's energy entrains up to match that
higher vibration. This higher vibration supports the healing
process.
